As has been mentioned here already, consumer contracts are inherently unfair. Unfortunately, though, it takes someone suing to resolve some of these unfair contracts. My question is - which carriers allow you to join without signing a contract, or at least a contract that doesn't require you to stay a customer for a year or two without a $200+ termination fee. I've heard of pay-as-you-go, but do the rates compare and can you do data through such plans?
