Have had just an awful time with this release, over time I hope to feel better, but for the past 4 days it's been a disaster.
Mon - go to VZ store to get update - they can't do it, Treo won't take the update, says call 800 # to get replacement. I call, call process is easy. Tue - wait, use old 700p Wed - get replacement - run backup using backupman from card - all comes back - internet does not work - talk to VZ and Palm - something is incompatible in my files, internet works when used prior to card backup used. ( I'm a pro at wiping the unit out now and reloading). They say start from scratch. Maybe if I can't get this going, but I hate to loose programs I paid for. Finally get Versamail working, but won't synch calendar with exchange. Internet works. PS - I tried using the backup from my pc to restore - it put the unit in a perpetual boot loop. So much for that. Thu - find that Bluetooth only 1/2 works - I can pair, but I have to tap the bt headset for every call to use it. It does not automatically answer on bt when I answer using the phone. If anyone has thoughts and wants to share with list or offline, I'd be appreciative. Perhaps there's a file or two that I should not restore from the backup set? I tried to skip the bt files to no avail. As of now, internet works, contacts synch and email synchs with Exchange - Calendar does not. BT is partial . Web is good, Kinoma does not work as it says my paid upgrade has too many instances being used. Thanks for letting me vent... Pete [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
