I don't recall if this has been mentioned before in this thread or not,
but if you are depending on Versamail as THE place your POP email goes,
make sure you back up regularly. I use Versamail and find it quite
adequate, but during the few months I used it on the 700p the mail
database got corrupted once and all the email was lost. This has
happened twice on my new Sprint 755p in the 60 days I've had it.

Now, for me this doesn't present a problem since I use hosted Microsoft
Exchange for email. When Versamail lost all my emails, I just re-sync'd
it with the server and everything was back in place. Took about 3
minutes. If I'd been using the Treo as my PRIMARY email machine and had
been using POP/SMTP, and if I'd not had a backup, I'd've been, how shall
I put this delicately, SCREWED!!

I own Snappermail and have tested Chatter. Both offer some nice
features, but Versamail's abilty to participate with Exchange using
Exchange Activesync - syncing email, calendar, and contacts - is a real
winner for me.

Cheers,
Don

Thanks to all for their help configuring my 700p. It's working great
now!

All the best,
