OH, and at the risk of incurring the wrath of the Chattermail loyalists, I never installed Chatteremail on any device without immediately having trouble with that device and subsequently removing Chatter.
The trouble might, as Marc always maintained, have been caused by "some other application" on my pre-755p Treos, but being unwilling to look for or remove that "some other application", Chatter went bye bye. Versamail on the 700p and 755p can do Exchange Activesync for email, calendar and contacts. I think the only feature of Chatter that I'd like added to Versamail would be the ability to sync more than just the inbox. If I could sync a few selected folders I'd like that! Given the completely transparent background operation of Versamail's push implementation, and given how poorly the PalmOS architecture supports background operations, I'm very pleased with the stability of Versamail and would not want to sacrifice that stability for too many bells and whistles. I have had zero problems with the old triple whammy that frequented my pre-update 700p: email syncing, looking at the calendar, phone rings and Treo crashes. Doesn't happen on the 755p. Have I mentioned that I really like the 755p? :-) Cheers, Don -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Don Ferguson Sent: Saturday, July 28, 2007 6:36 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [Treo] Chattermail attachments What does the BB email client do that Versamail doesn't, specifically? I haven't see anything in BB email except the main email inbox screen, which looks very much like Versamail.
