Why do you think it needs to be defragged? Is it performing badly?
If WinXP can't write to it, but the Treo can and the read/write switch
is in the correct position, then I'd assume there is a problem with
whatever hardware or software you're using to access the card from
Windows XP.

win xp says it can't defrag because its read only write prot
but I use this card in treo all the time for read & write
