I've seen this before. This happened to me once when I rebooted my XP PC with
the SD card still in the card reader. DO NOT defrag or keep the SD in the
reader while rebooting the PC. Bad things will happen to the card if you do.

my sd card needs to be defrag as per win xp
win xp says it can't defrag because its read only write prot
but I use this card in treo all the time for read & write
