Thanks for the comments. 
 
Nothing changed. Bluetooth worked on Saturday when I left SD and two days  
later, when I got back it did not.
 
Nothing changed in the e-mail. Worked then did not.
 
It is a Treo 750 and yes it is Windows mobile version. Would I be better  
upgrading to it?
 
As far as signal strength, it went from four bars to no service for several  
hours to four bars.

That was probably AT&T, not your phone. I've been noticing  widely
variating signal strengths while my Treo 680 is sitting in one  place
where before there was a steady strong signal strength.

There is no Treo 720. The other Treo that  AT&T has is the Windows
Mobile version.
