LOL! I've noticed that there is a two to three year delay of new maps irrelevant of maker, although Navteq seems faster in releasing updated maps. Doesn't matter if you buy "new" maps for 2007/2008, the maps you get are still a few years old. I bought a new map-pack (2007/2008) for my new Navigon from their website, advertised as new, but in central europe there were still big Autobahns for example that had been there for a couple of years that still weren't mapped on the "new" maps I bought... This may be different in the US, but it's still irritating. Make really sure how often the gps-maker releases new maps and if they are readily available for the consumers!
