I had the same thing happen with my first 755p. Things in RAM kept disappearing and I thought I was going batty. Eventually it must have eaten away at stuff in the ROM.
It eventually got to the point where it reset and stayed on the Palm logo screen. The Sprint replace it because it was within the 30 days. This took place over the course of 2 day.
