No. Sprint and Verizon both have EVDO. EVDO is the type of fast data 
system that CDMA carriers provide. EDGE is what most of the GSM 
providers are using until they implement HSDPA which is the EVDO (speed) 
equivalent of EVDO. HSDPA has not been implemented yet though.
