Hi Don, Isn't the non-replaceable 300 charge battery the issue that kicked off the whole price cut, rebate situation? That's the one I was discussing.
Ultimately the purchaser determines what's value for their money don’t you think? How many of those 700,000 thought their iPhone battery would last longer than 300 charges? I too love my Treo. I bought a factory sealed GSM 680 for a little over $300/no contract and for that reason I really didn't mind buying a better battery after purchase though I would have given Palm a lot more credit if they'd launched it with a better one.
