The immediate answer to your query is the keys did answer the phone. The
five-way and button work as well as do the screen buttons.
So, in accord with your suggestion, in Prefs I checked Disable
touchscreen when on a call. I still could answer the phone with either
the five-way or the screen button.
Then I checked Incoming calls received. Now the screen buttons are
locked, but the five-way still works.
Each time, I make sure the Treo is locked before I call it. Somehow, the
incoming call is waking and unlocking the phone.
I wonder whether there's a setting I can't seem to locate in TakePhone.
