Go to the \address, \datebook and \todo directories under your \Palm\username\ directory, rename the .dat file to .old and the .bak file to .dat. Then, launch the Palm desktop to see if that's the data you actually want. If it is, change the action of the corresponding conduits to "Desktop overwrites handheld" and Hotsync.
