Oh, that's a whole different issue... It does not power off, it reboots! Probably some third-party software... Start by removing any very old software that hacks into the PalmOS (and because of its age does not truly know how to interface well with your Treo). Then disable anything that hacks deep into the OS. See if that solves your problem then re-enable one by one and keep using for a few days until you detect the culprit.
Does it only reboot during a call?
