I have 2 gmail.com accounts. Both have 4345GB of storage; however, one one has the IMAP option.
The one that has IMAP avaiable is the one that had POP enable. The other did not have POP enable and IMAP is not an option yet. I assume they are starting with the accounts that have POP enabled because they are the likely the first to use it. Those without POP enabled are using the web interface only.
