Good info.  The reason I've given up on Gmail's POP account (several
times, actually) is that you can't use *both* POP and the web
interface.  If you do that, your POP requests end up syncing
everything you've read (and maybe even archived) via the web all over
again.   Just silly.  I'm hoping IMAP fixes that issue.
