Wait, huh? So, do you buy two of them to accomplish "stereo"? And, are you
referring to real stereo, or just having the same sound in both ears?

Thanks!
Don

I use the Jabra BT8010 and I love it. It is a mono headset that connects with
another mono headset to create stereo listening even if your phone doesn't
support stereo bluetooth. I got mine from Tiger Direct for just under $100
including shipping.

Subj:[Treo] Bluetooth Headset for Treo 700p

I have tried the Motorola H700 and the Plantronic 510, and was not very
happy with either one for different reasons. The H700 was great to wear and
for noise canceling, however the headset was very quiet, even when set on
the highest setting, which made it hard to hear. Worse still, it seemed to
have a range of only 4 or 5 feet from the phone before it became garbled,
and a few more feet away, it was completely unusable. So, I bought the
Plantronic 510, and I have been very happy with the bluetooth range and
volume, but the headset is completely unusable otherwise. About 50% of the
time it will not connect to my phone when a call arrives, and if I try to
dial out after completing a call, once again it fails to connect more then
half the time. It is just not a viable headset.

My latest attempt was the jawbone, which is really not very comfortable, and
the sound was really marginal. I could hear fine, but nearly everyone I
spoke with complained about the sound quality on the ohter end. Add in the
steep price tag, and this headset is not worth owning.

So, my question. Is there a headset that works well with the 700p with good
noice canceling and range?

Thanks.
