The set of two headsets come in one package for $89.99 + shipping. Each headset has the same sound. Unfortunately it is not true stereo however, I have tried actual "stereo bluetooth" headsets and was not fond of the quality. Once again the Jabra BT8010 has satisfied my needs for both phone calls and listening to music. Also remember that most "if any" treo's do not support "stereo bluetooth" or what is known as A2DP. Therefore once again the Jabra is the best headset because you are getting sound into the second headset via a cable that connects to the original mono headset.
Hope this helps!!! EKG --- Original Message --- From:"Don Ferguson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent:Wed 11/14/07 12:12 am To:<[email protected]> Subj:RE: [Treo] Bluetooth Headset for Treo 700p Wait, huh? So, do you buy two of them to accomplish "stereo"? And, are you referring to real stereo, or just having the same sound in both ears? Thanks! It is a mono headset that connects with another mono headset to create stereo listening even if your phone doesn't support stereo bluetooth. I got mine from Tiger Direct for just under $100 including shipping. www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/search.asp?keywords=jabra+bt8010&image12.x=17&image12.y=18 --- Original Message --- From:"Mark Udstrand" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent:Sun 11/11/07 10:36 pm To:[email protected] Subj:[Treo] Bluetooth Headset for Treo 700p I have tried the Motorola H700 and the Plantronic 510, and was not very happy with either one for different reasons. The H700 was great to wear and for noise canceling, however the headset was very quiet, even when set on the highest setting, which made it hard to hear. Worse still, it seemed to have a range of only 4 or 5 feet from the phone before it became garbled, and a few more feet away, it was completely unusable. So, I bought the Plantronic 510, and I have been very happy with the bluetooth range and volume, but the headset is completely unusable otherwise. About 50% of the time it will not connect to my phone when a call arrives, and if I try to dial out after completing a call, once again it fails to connect more then half the time. It is just not a viable headset. My latest attempt was the jawbone, which is really not very comfortable, and the sound was really marginal. I could hear fine, but nearly everyone I spoke with complained about the sound quality on the ohter end. Add in the steep price tag, and this headset is not worth owning. So, my question. Is there a headset that works well with the 700p with good noice canceling and range? Thanks. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Yahoo! Groups Links Yahoo! Groups Links
