Truth is I am VERY geographically challenged and often get lost and disoriented when it comes to directions. I've always been that way. My wife can't understand how I can be so clueless as to where I am or when it comes to finding my way around town. As to my comment about not always knowing what city I'm in... Of course GENERALLY I know where I am, but there are a number of cities that sort of all seamlesly blend together to form the "greater Phoenix vicinity". I often am not sure if I'm in Phoenix proper, or in one of the neighboring towns like Tempe, or Chandler, or Guadalupe, or Glendale, etc. A lot of streets have the same exact names around here, not only between cities but within the same city! It's crazy. Anyway, it would be really handy to know for sure which city you're in when trying to locate places in Google Maps on the Treo. With GPS on the Treo you wouldn't have to worry about that.
