I was wondering would I be able to use such speed when I'm in USA? Any USA GSM users, what speeds do you get in USA?
WCDMA is also available in Korea. I'm surprised how come the name was not in the list. I'm surprised with Europe having CDMA. I knew them as always in for GSM. http://www.3g.co.uk/PR/June2005/1572.htm Vishal From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of L Sent: 23 December 2007 21:58 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Treo] broadband internet on palm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WCDMA http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CDMA2000 Seems like WCDMA is used in Japan while CDMA2000 is used in the US Here's a tongue twister. HSDPA runs on UMTS networks that utilize WCDMA to achieve speeds above 1Mbit/s. I didn't realize that CDMA technology was also used in UMTS.
