My Treo 680 User Guide (page 261) indicates that the "operating and
storage range" is 32-104 degrees F. That doesn't mean that it won't
operate outside those temperatures but I certainly wouldn't want to
take any chances with a device that is so valuable to me.

Is there any reason either the Treo or Garmin could not be left in the
