LightWav used to be quite buggy as well but the developer has improved it a lot, mainly by finally locking it in RAM (DBCache). It has a few quirks but nothing comes CLOSE feature-wise. I use only a fraction of its features, but some to me are simply invaluable. I recommend checking the website and then downloading the latest release version for a spin, since it seems to me that pricing is similar, so LightWav offers more bang per dollar.
I tried RingCare, but strangely it behaved quite badly. Since VolumeCare performs flawlessly in my current Treo 680 and did as well in my previous Treos, that did come as a very unpleasant surprise to me. YMMV, of course. Could be some unique problem in my Treo that caused RingCare to behave badly. In fact, I'm just in the middle of a "spring cleaning" process of my Treo 680. Little has been reainstalled, but it truly amazes me to snappier it becomes when we start from scratch... PalmOS is just like Windows... it REQUIRES a complete reinstall from time to time.
