Minitones and Ringo work completely differently. Minitones saves clips from your mp3's on your sd card to RAM (and eats up space). You then have access to these tunes the same as the ones that came on your Treo. Ringo, otoh, is a ringtone manager. With Ringo you use the songs directly from your sd card without converting them. Personally, I prefer the versatility of Lightwav for my ringtones.
