There IS a suitable space inside IF you are prepared to abandon your stylus. If you take the back off you will see where the stylus lives and it passes through an `arch` which would provide a good anchor for a lanyard if you are prepared to accept the `surgery` involved. Incidentally for anyone with a Treo 680 (I got mine for Christmas) who has battery life problems I have managed to `solve` it! Firstly the obvious - switch off the `beam`, `Bluetooth`, etc when not actually being used, INCLUDING the phone function. e.g. unless you need the phone at night then turn it off when you go to bed!! (I only power up my phone function when I am away from the house) OK that`s saved some battery life. Then, because I wasn`t happy with the battery life from day one, I went onto eBay and bought myself a `spare` (well, actually two spares). I took a deep breath and chose a 2600 mAh model from Hong Kong. They arrived PDQ (under a week) and with a slight `shock`. Being more than twice the capacity of the original battery was achieved by the battery being TWICE the thickness! But to cope with this the supplier supplies a deeper back cover!!!! Hey - it works! (If you can live with a fatter 680, I can). Oh and the fatter battery still fits in and charges up OK with the Palm suppled Treo battery charger. So, I now have two `fat` batteries that each handle more than a week, plus my original battery. Enough for a holiday away from the computer connection even before plugging the charger box into the mains. It may not be to everyone`s taste - it JUST about fits into my Krusell belt carrier case and may be too fat for some others. -- Tony Cooke http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/tonyandgillcooke/ First listen to sermon, THEN eat missionary.
