Ed - I have 5 phones on the 1400 family plan; including 2 college students and a high school student. The unlimited texting is what's important because my children all have cell phones fused to their fingers. I have to have a separate 6th phone on its own for my father-in-law. We never come close to the 1400 minutes, so our bill is less than $200 plus my data for the Treo.
The 'unlimited plan' still has caps on data and is $199 for the first 2 phones, and $99 for the next 3, so my bill would go up to $350+. Makes no sense whatsoever.
