Thanks Alli, but I'm not sure that's correct -- I got not only a Palmdesktop, but also HotSync 7.0.2, which appears to be the conduits. It includes the choice of syncing with PD or with Outlook...It is possible to download the Desktop only, but that's not what I got.
anyone else have any idea? I do have the original installation disk, though IIRC it needs an update after installation...I may wander over to the Cingular/ATT website and see whether they offer the software I need. --- In [email protected], Alli <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > From what I understand, installing from the Palm download instead of > the disk means you don't get the conduits. > > lskohn wrote: > > I am setting up a new desktop, and instead of pulling out the original > > Treo installation disk, I went to the palm website and downloaded the > > Palmdesktop -- but I got HotSync Manager 7.0.2, while the disk is > > HotSync Manager 6.0.1 (which is what I have on my laptop). > > > > Aside from the snazzy new GUI, what do I gain from HSM 7.0.2?
