I tried it twice too before I settled on Zlauncher because LauncherX wouldn't 
stick to the home button.

 That's pretty much my experience with it, except that it took me three
 tries before I decided it was the best thing since sliced bread.  What
 tipped it for me, believe it or not, was Vista.  Vista's Start Menu has
 a search bar that works almost exactly the same way as Initiate's Power
 Search.
