Try switching again.
Did you apply the latest Outlook patch ?

For what it is worth, Palms Outlook conduits are buggy, I have used them for
some time but am now using PocketMirror from Chapura since I moved to
Outlook 2007 (before I had Intellisync syncing with Outlook 2003 and before
that with Lotus Notes).
