I finally was able to replace my Treo 600 last night. It took 3 nights. The first night they didn't have any 680s and the inexperience saleswoman tried telling me the Treo 750 did BOTH Windows Mobile AND PALM operating system. I knew that was wrong. She also told me the 680 was discontinued. I didn't want Windows Mobile and I didn't like the new Centro. The next night I went to another store. They had a great price but didn't have a 680 in stock. Third night at another store was a charm (except for all the gas I burned :). This saleswomen appeared to know what she was talking about. She also said the 680 was being discontinued and basically being replaced with the Centro. The price after rebate was $119 including a car charger and Motorolla Bluetooth earbud worth $70.00. I got an additional $25 off because I was out of contract for so long. Not too bad, about $95.00 after rebate but not including taxes. I spent the money saved on a docking station/charger for work and an extra travel charger I keep in the car.
