[Treo] Setting up the Palm

I bought my Palm 680 unlocked on ebay, I've seen the messages to add on 
the data plan for $20 on the att site, and they are my carrier, at 
least for now. But I assume my phone is not set up for the sms and 
email, how can I do that?
