You're welcome.
You might also be able to call Sprint, tell them your issue, and ask nicely that they mail you an ESRP replacement due to defective hardware. Tell them that you have gone to the store, but they don't have any replacements in stock for you. Most likely, they will send you a replacement. HOWEVER, they will charge the fill price of the phone to your Bill, and will credit every dollar back as soon as you return the old defective phone. Sometimes, this happens in the same billing cycle, sometimes it doesn't. Food for thought. It sounds like it working now for you, good. -Sam From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Robert Robertson Sent: Thursday, May 29, 2008 3:32 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Treo] Re: Sprint Treo 755p update at Palm.com website May 29, 2008 Hi, Sam, and thanks for the tip. I was not aware there were two avenues: "insurance" and authorized repair centers. I think my 755p is "fixed" now but will store this tidbit away. The Sprint tech had told me about a repair center in my area. I called it the other day just to learn their exact location without intent to go there. I learned that not all repair centers are created equal. That one told me they do not have replacement phones but told me of 3 other locations, one sort of close to me, that do. Again, helpful information which I hope I never need. The one thing I think the centers will not do is order a repalcement phone ahead in case they have none in stock. It appears one must present and they will test and if a replacement must be done and if they do not have one on hand they dismiss you with your old device to be contacted a few days later when the replacement comes in. Hence, another trip to the center. I just hope I do not have to use them in the future. The few times I have had to call Sprint, the service has been fine. Prior to Sprint, the T-Mobile support was fine also. Robert, Austin, Texas [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
