You're still not listening.  It's not just the OS, it's the trackball!!!!

There's not another device that has a trackball.  I guess it's a blackberry 
patent.  Otherwise everyone would have it as it is the best way to scroll or 
navigate than any other device out there.

I was a skeptic much like you until I said what the hell.  I've tried just 
about everything else I now need to try a Blackberry.  I held off because for 
the longest time they didn't really have 3rd party applications.  Now they have 
facebook, HandBase, SplashPhoto, SplashID, MobiReader, and even an RPN 
scientific calculator.

Doesn't matter what the os is. When I pick up an ordinary Nokia I stab 
at the screen. I simply want touch screen. Ease of os has nothing to do 
with it. When the BB with touch screen comes out, I'll take the BB 
challenge.
