Cheers Roger Just on their site now.
Does the battery life live up to its claims (got the impression here that the Centro suffers like the 680 or is that an isolated case) -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Roger Prokic Sent: 07 June 2008 14:21 To: Treo User Palm Treo User Group Subject: Re: [Treo] Re: Sign of the times? The Blackberry Curve is the same price as a Centro. It has built-in GPS unlike the Centro. Maybe LOL Just looking at the alternatives as I am not happy with Palm as a company. The only saving grace with the Centro is that it is cheap enough to bin if it goes wrong where-as the others weren't. I must admit I have not really studied the Centro's spec (having just rejoined this group after quite a long absence) but will put it on my shortlist. I have also joined the iPhone & Blackberry groups to do the same so while the 650 is still useable I will just sit on the side and just gather info. Many thanks for your input Regards Jomo -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <mailto:treo%40yahoogroups.com> [mailto:[email protected] <mailto:treo%40yahoogroups.com> ] On Behalf Of Alli Sent: 07 June 2008 13:15 To: [email protected] <mailto:treo%40yahoogroups.com> Subject: Re: [Treo] Re: Sign of the times? I've just spent a week in an office with a guy with an iPhone. He traded in his Treo 680 for it, cause Palm was "too complicated." However, over the past week, he was severely limited in what he could do as we had no WiFi and very limited cell service available. I could still go online and get my mail, watch tv on my Slingbox, use my Centro as a large jump drive to transfer files from one computer to another, and all the usual good stuff. We could both use our devices as phones, mp3 players, calendar/address books. Switch to an iPhone? Are you out of your mind?
