Yeah, I was thinking about your last post after I had responded to it and realized we pretty much are in full agreement. RIAA is sleazy. Apple is sleazy. DRM sucks. I think I misconstrued your original post as trying to absolve Apple of all blame for DRM and heavy handed business practices. I realize I read too much into your post.Apologies. > > I hope we can also agree that the Pre looks gorgeous and we can't wait > to get our hands on one, amirite? I've signed up for the "let me know when this is available" email from Sprint. I am currently a Sprint customer so it was a no-brainer for me. I am really stoked about it. However, there is this quiet voice inside me that says its not really a palm. That it will be so vastly different (especially if it isn't backward compatible) that it has to be evaluated as a completely new thing and not just the next in line of palm products. I'm not sure I am stating that clearly. In any case, it doesn't make me less excited and I think it was definitely what palm had to do... but maybe there is a little sadness for ol' palm os. -Harry (not Henry or Harold or Hank) :)
