Hi , just wanted to fid out about the number of treo pro ( and my extension
other winmo treo users still on the list).
As in the phon space Palm has basically shifted to three models : pre pro
and centro and has officially killed the future of the centro I think its
time that people got more input to help them decide which way they ought to
jump after the palm platform officially goes bye bye....

I would suggest that any winmob treo users chime in with either favourite
apps or palm app to winmob equivaent mapping so that we get both a headcount
as well as a very useful resource for those who follow. EX winmob users (
alli i suppose among others are also welcome to chime in with app
suggestions).
for me some really good apps I use day in and day out are

1. mortplayer
2. realvga patches( your treo is just not the same without them... however
note that this makes the treos fonts etc much smaller so perhaps its because
i am short sighted and so have unusually shap near vision that i love it so
much

3. styletap... all the old palm goodness still not sure if this shows a 320
320 screen as a 320 320 screen or munges t...i.e is it realvga aware ? who
knows...

4.resco file explorer and plugin

5 isilo ebook reader

6 bejewelled 2 astraware game

7 nimbuzz amazing im application

8 homescreen plus plus

9 don't sleep wifi prevents the device from going to sleep and shutting off
the wifi.. great for im ing

10 sprite backup present in rom so no worries

pet peeves... frequently the meeting reminders stop sounding... previously
when this happened i did a hard reset followed by restore and it started
working again...

2. several apps muk with the volume... you'll findphone volume decreasing to
zero inexplicably... after removing the sound icon and stopping the vol0
service i haven't experianced this problem yet

things to do

still debating whether to try touchflo 2d on my treo....

need to grasp mortscript... seems liek a great macro language for treo pros

hove not found anything like onboard c a totally slf contained dev
environment that runs on a palm pda ...but probably win mo apps are
comparatively complicated anyway...
