The key difference is the operating system. Neither is objectively "better". Just different.
What you're used to on the Centro is PalmOS and what you get on the Treo Pro is Windows Mobile. They are very different operating systems. Windows Mobile is more capable in some areas than PalmOS, and has some usability and stability drawbacks compared to PalmOS. It has been written that the Treo's implementation of Windows Mobile is the most user friendly out there. That said, while as an I/T person I appreciate some of the advantages of Windows Mobile, I've never found Windows Mobile to be user friendly at all, and have documented several times how many more steps it takes to do things with WM than with PalmOS. What's your motivation for moving from the Centro to the Pro? Can anyone give me their experiences with the Pro and whether they are happy with it? Thank you Gail in Wisconsin [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
