My TP is serving me well. I still miss some PalmOS stuff, but the TP is
more stabile than my 650 or 680 -- I believe because I was trying to
make the earlier Treos do too much.
The TP forces me to use Outlook, a major source of aggravation on
my part, not because it doesn't work, but because it's Microsoft.
But with the addition of a couple of apps, it's a pretty tolerable
device.

= There is no speed dial included, but I've found InesoftPhone very
acceptable.
= I still have not found a WM replacement for such phone logging apps as
Comet.
= Pocket Informant does much of what Agendus did on PalmOS but doesn't
do on WM.
= MortPlayer allows playing an entire mp3 as an alarm, which WM's alarm
didn't do.
= and right now I am tethered to my Ubuntu-powered Acer. Tethering is
built into the Pro -- no need for PDANet, which worked super on PalmOS.
While I am tethered, the email just told me I had some new unread
messages, and I've created anappointment and carried on a brief SMS
conversation.

I still have no love for MS (which is why my laptop runs Ubuntu. But I
have to admit the Pro is doing what I need it to do with a minimum of
hassle.
