Don, What you probably did was sync to your Palm Pre account on initial set-up and added your Google Account.
I'm running two Google accounts (work & personal) facebook and AIM. If you find you have duplicates open the name you want as the Primary tap the top gray bar where it has the name & picture and select "link more profiles" then tap on the name you want to merge with the Primary. They'll be together on your Pre with ALL the info, but seperate in each account.
