Hmm...FB must not be compatible with the 755, or it is conflicting with 
something else, because I have FB on my Centro, and it hasn't caused any 
problems that I know of.

Wow...I figured out what it was!
I had downloaded the Facebook app to the phone just about when this started 
happening.
I just deleted the FB app, I'm running full speed ahead now!

It amazes me how one app can make the entire phone and ALL the other apps run 
slower than a turtle stuck in molasses!
