Hi, I am new here and currently have an iPhone 3GS and Treo 750 on ATT, which I might cancel if I like the Pre and more importantly Sprints service. I can alway use the iPhone as a video iPod and for games, also use data when connected to wifi so I can still do almost everything except make calls.
I just ordered a Palm Pre on Sprint and waiting on it to arrive which should be soon I hope. Sprints new plans are super as long as I get good service in my area. Now they even included unimited mobile to mobile on any network. I do not know a lot about the Palm Pre but am getting it for free after an offer from where I work so I figured why not. I have some questions so I can prepare ahead of time. I am not making comparisons between my phones but how does the Pre sync contacts and music and things like that. My iPhone uses iTunes and MS Outlook and my Treo 750 uses Windows Media Player and Outlook. Can the Pre shoot video yet? I read somewhere it was coming in an update. I saw it can do Facebook and AOL AIM but are there other social networking apps like Twitter, Yahoo IM and things like that? I use AIM and Yahoo IM. What about games? I am still keeping my iPhone, even if only for games, but can you get games like Madden 2010, Mafia Wars and things like that? I want to at least get something fun for the Pre so I dont have to carry both around all the time and have something to kill time if needed. I guess my syncing question is the most important but anything would help or some websites to look at. Thanks, Rich
