Hi, thanks all this really helps me. I also downloaded the user guide from
the Sprint website to get familiar with the "gestures" and other things as I
heard some are very different than the iPhone and Treo 750 which I am
used to. I want to be up and running as fast as I can.

I like that it can sync to iTunes as I have been using that for a while with
my iPhone and wont have to change anything or relearn any new programs.
If needed I will not upgrade iTunes anymore to keep this ability. :>

I do use Gmail as my main email and Google Voice so all my contacts are
already there. I am going to double-check and update them this weekend before
my Pre comes so its the most current and I am ready.

For the sync contacts, do you know if you can pick and choose or is it all or
none ? I have a Facebook account but have about 3000 friends as I play games
there. Most of these 3000 I dont even know, you have to friend them to play
some games and would not want in my contacts on the phone.

After using the iPhone and its app store for a while, I was expecting more apps
for the Pre but I did not realize that its app store was so new. I did look
around
and found some apps of interest though. I hope it grows quickly and there are
a lot of free apps to try.

I did look at the website you gave and found out that built in Yahoo IM, flash
and video recording should be coming sometime soon. I also saw an "unofficial"
on screen keyboard like the iPhone has that looks interesting. It lets you
type in
normal and landscape mode. I probably wont install anything unofficial for a
while but this might be the first when I do.
