[Treo] Palm Pre - Outlook Exchange Question

I have set up my Pre for my Outlook exchange at work.  Does great for emails, 
but is also syncing work tasks and everytime a task pops up on my screen, I 
throw it off and it seems to delete it entirely from my Outlook task list.
Is there anyway I can stop the "Tasks" portion of Outlook from syncing with my 
Pre?
