On mine there are two buttons underneath the missed call notification that are there right away: "Call Back" and "Dismiss". Does the Dismiss button not do what you intend? If I want until another notification comes up, the missed call notification becomes just a one liner like normal notifications, and I can just swipe it off the screen and it's gone. Am I missing your intent?
