Still debating and testing the Pre Plus. It'll cost me $149 for the device, $200 to cancel Sprint, and $30/month more ongoing. Year 1 cost: $710!! Quite a hefty price tag!
I like it, though. A few troubling things: 1. The Verizon gal asked if I were using Enterprise Email, and I said NO. Enterprise Email is a Blackberry concept, but I think she was getting at the difference between the $30/month data plan and the $45/month data plan. I chose the former, but activesync with Exchange stopped working last night. Not sure the cause. 2. When I first tried to assign an alarm sound to an alarm the thing hung on the spinning wheel screen. I had to restart it to get it to let me pick an alarm sound. Two minor glitches. One whopping expense. I DO like the slider mechanism and the overall solid feel of the Pre Plus. The extra memory is a nice bonus, especially going forward. Is Verizon worth it? (that one IS a rhetorical question). Cheers, Don [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
