I don't know...it has never been mentioned in the list of things 1.4 will bring, so I doubt it.
Honestly, it'd be pretty trivial for a dev to make an app that does it...why not go beat the bushes in forums and such to try and raise interest/awareness...I'm sure there are more than a few devs with time and no good ideas to pursue.
