I checked some of the exif data from outdoor pictures taken with my Pre, and
plugged their latitude & longitude info into Google Earth.  It was within a
1/4 mile of the actual location.

The accuracy is going to be similar to other Pre GPS apps.  It *can*
be street-address accurate, but sometimes you only get the location
of the cell tour.  Several times, mine has been stuck at the tower
and the only way out was to restart the Pre.  That's inconvenient
when you're using Sprint Navigation in an unfamiliar locale...
