[Treo] Google updates

I discovered today that while I have known for weeks that changes to my 
Google calendar, whether made on the Pre or the PC, update virtually 
instantly.
     BUT changes to my contacts made on one platform still have not 
appeared on the other. It's 4 p.m. and a couple of the changes were made 
about six hours ago.
      I've even gone into Prefs & Accts on the Pre and tapped a manual 
Sync Now, to no avail.
      Is this normal?
