I called Palm yesterday for warranty replacement (crack from USB port now spread to screen, Sprint says is cosmetic and won't replace but I digress) and the guy I talked to said that my refurbished phone will come with 1.4 as Sprint is the one holding up the push not Palm. Please take it at face value as I do not know where this "Palm representative" was located (did have an accent) and he did not address Pre Plus'. I have the FedEx tracking for the Advance Exchange (hasn't shipped yet) and will let you know if it has 1.4 when I get it. FWIW,
