Ever since I got that webOS pseudo-update notice this morning, my Pre has been super sluggish, on and off. Examples: Tapping icons often fails to open the apps. When I flick a card off the screen, it gets stuck half way out, and then after 15 seconds, comes back down. Closing an email message requires 20 - 30 swipes in the gesture area before it "catches". Stuff like that. Very annoying.
Restarting the device fixes it for a short while, but when I use a few apps, download email, etc., the system gets bogged down again. So far today I've restarted it 4 times in an attempt to resolve this issue. I don't use any home brew apps or any other hacks. I decided to let webOS re-install the (not-so-) new 1.3.5.1 "update". Hopefully that'll make it happy. Sluggish OS behavior like this has happened to me several times before with the Pre. Usually it fixes itself after a few minutes. Sometimes I've had to do a restart. But today's behavior is like nothing I've experienced before, having lasted 7 hours on and off. George
