That’s a good point: they ALL have flaws. The iPhone is a terrible phone; the Droid loses email accounts and text messages; WinMob is WinMob, etc. The Pre is a first generation hardware and software device that has hardware product quality problems (haven’t heard if the Pre + definitively fixes that, and/or if the + will start being sold by Sprint to replace the original Pre – that’s what should happen) and a general lack of customizability, which is slowly being addressed.
I do wish Palm/Sprint would hire a better ad agency than they have now. The ads so far have been pretty lame, and don’t really convey the real nature/benefits of the Pre.
